The UISPP Journal is the periodical of the International Union of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences, dedicated to the publication of high-quality research outputs from all disciplines related to prehistoric and protohistoric studies.

The International Union of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences (Union Internationale des Sciences Préhistoriques et Protohistoriques – UISPP) was founded on May 28th, 1931, in Bern, bringing together all branches of science related to Prehistory and Protohistory, including archaeology, anthropology, palaeontology, geology, zoology, botany, environmental science, physics, chemistry, geography, history, numismatics, epigraphy and mathematics.
